Famous of the Week - Josh Hutcherson


Joshua Ryan Hutcherson (Union, Kentucky, October 12, 1992) is an American actor.







He began work in early 2000, appearing in small roles in films and programs. Josh has gained increased visibility with the leading roles in films such as ABC of Love and Zathura: A Space Adventure, 2005, comedy Trailer Holidays in 2006, Firehouse Dog, 2007, adjustments to the film Bridge to Terabithia, Journey to the Center of Earth and Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Apprentice. On March 30, 2008, Hutcherson won a Young Artist Awards (Young Actor for Main). Hutcherson was also featured in an edition of Celebrity Teens hit show MTV's Cribs.


Josh was born in Union, Kentucky, son of Michelle and Chris Hutcherson. He has a younger brother Connor, as well as many animals, including two boxer dogs, Diesel and Nixon, [1] and two cats, Paws and Jell-O. [2] Josh wanted to be an actor since the age of four [3], but began auditioning for roles only in 2002 to nine years [4].







Hutcherson has the movie The Dark Knight, Talladega Nights and Transformers as some of his favorite movies. He is also a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals - his favorite football team. Hutcherson has cited actor Jake Gyllenhaal as an inspiration. He is studying at home during the performance of films, and enjoys math, especially algebra. When not studying at home, he attends the Ryle High School. Hutcherson lives in Kentucky with his family, recently acquired a license to drive. Hutcherson likes cars, competitive triathlons, bowling and football. On August 11, 2007, he participated in a kart GP at Indy Racing League IndyCar Series Meijer Indy 300 at Kentucky Speedway. In September 2008 he went to Italy for the first time. He visited cities such as Rome and Milan, and attended a local event on children and cinema. [5] He also played a friendly with an Italian team rookie football. Josh Hutcherson is a close friend of AnnaSophia Robb and Mitchel Musso.






Career


His first role was in 2002 in a TV movie called House Blend. In the same year he appeared in an episode of ER, opposite Peter Falk and Timothy Daly in the made for TV film, Wilder Days, and had a minor role in the well-reviewed independent film, Anti American Hero. In 2003, he made the protagonist of Miracle Dogs (released direct to DVD). Made in 2004 The Polar Express.






In 2005, Hutcherson appeared in several Hollywood films. He had a small role in the comedy of Will Ferrell, Dad Hits A Bozo, voiced Markl in the animated film Howl's Moving Castle, and played the lead roles on ABC's of Love and Zathura: A Space Adventure, both launched in 2005 to positive reviews. The following year, Hutcherson appeared in the comedy Holiday in the trailer as the son of the character of Robin Williams. In his most famous movie to date, interpreted "Jesse Aarons" in the drama Bridge to Terabithia, which was filmed in New Zealand [6] and released on February 16, 2007, the film was well both critically and commercially. Josh had not read the novel on which the movie is based, before being cast in the role, and yet it was very well received critical acclaim for its excellent performance .. [6] [7]






What next role was in Firehouse Dog (released on April 4, 2007) in which he played "Shane Fahey, a firefighter's son who befriends a dog. He also appeared in a film adaptation of the book Spy High alongside Richard "Ali" Muhammad and Gage Golightly. This film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.






In March 2008, he won a Young Artist Awards (Young Actor Principal), as well as co-stars AnnaSophia Robb and Bailee Madison by Bridge to Terabithia.
